Energy

System description

YatComm can monitor the voltage and current of three separate battery banks. AC voltage and current can be obtained through a dedicated AC measurement module or a compatible Modbus power meter. Data from compatible Victron devices that provide Modbus access can also appear in the same interface.

Tanks & sensors

System description

Eight sensor inputs can be used for tank levels, temperature, pressure and similar measurements. Resistive, 4–20 mA and 0–5 V sensors can be integrated with the appropriate interface and calibration. Available readings depend on the sensors installed on the boat.

Alarms

System description

Sixteen 12/24 V compatible digital inputs can track equipment status as well as alarms. For example, they can show when the bilge pump or generator is running, or when shore power or generator power is active. Notifications can be configured for selected events.

Controls

System description

There are ten outputs: five standard and five with current monitoring. The current-monitored outputs are particularly suited to navigation lights; the outputs are rated at 4 A. Larger loads can be switched through a suitable relay or contactor instead of being connected directly to an output.

Connected devices

System description

Data can be collected from compatible devices communicating over Modbus or CAN bus. Control commands are also possible where the device protocol supports them and the integration is configured accordingly. Power meters, engine data and other compatible equipment can be brought together in one interface.

Remote access

System description

View connected measurements, alarms and equipment status remotely on your phone, and operate suitably configured outputs. Warnings and selected events can be sent over the installed 4G connection. Available remote functions depend on the connected equipment and network conditions.
